The brake caliper press tool comes equipped with two sets of push boards: 7.01x2.36 inches and 4.53x2.17 inches. These dimensions make the tool suitable for most single and twin-piston floating calipers, twin and quad-piston fixed calipers, and even some sextuplet-piston fixed calipers, provided the piston caliper space can accommodate the spreader.
【Working Principle】
The spreader can be expanded to push the boards or retracted when the task is completed, adjustable by a switch. In the expanded mode, the centrally located ratchet screw creates uniform thrust to the push boards, enabling the simultaneous pushing of several pistons within the caliper. This approach effectively saves energy and significantly improves efficiency.
【How to Use】
Centralize the push boards on both sides, aligning them with the pistons. Apply force to both sides to assist in the initial starting process, until the push boards press the pistons. Swing the handle until the push boards have pressed the pistons to the desired position, then adjust the switch to retract the boards and remove the spreader.
【Size Reference】
The two groups of push boards measure 7.01x2.36 inches and 4.53x2.17 inches, respectively. The telescopic range of the tool extends from a fully retracted 1.88" to a fully expanded 3.03".
